Our scratch-baked, buttercream-frosted cupcakes and cupcake towers have become immensely popular. We don’t keep too many secrets about the reasons behind their sweet success: we are loyal to our tried-and-true family recipes. We bake all of our cakes and cupcakes in our bakery’s intimate, open-kitchen environment. We only use all-natural, high quality ingredients and seasonal produce.

Our cupcake towers are a popular choice as an alternative to a traditional cake, and can even be topped with a small cake. Our cupcake toppers are 100% custom-made to order – each one sculpted by hand, and fully edible.
if you’re throwing a party, give us a call to place a pickup/delivery order and we’ll whip up a batch just for you. Do note that all cupcake pickups are on Thursdays and Saturdays, and that most flavors need at least a day’s notice to prepare.

Such a great shop! Jordan is so accommodating, helpful and really brings an idea to life. My friend is gluten free and wanted a cake for her baby shower. We went in with her theme (Dr.Seuss) and stressed the gluten free aspect and we left totally happy with all gluten free cupcakes and a cake! Jordan allowed us to sample the gluten free chocolate cupcake and it was SO good! I have had their "regular" cupcakes before so of course I had to pick up more while I was there. Velvet Sky Bakery was a great! The cake was delicious and the design really coincided with type of people my husband and I are. The design of the cake was elegant, simple, and the little accents that reflected our personality as a couple made it that much more unique and special for when we cut that first piece together. Our consultation was very thorough and when we walked away, we couldn't feel more confident in our decision. They have a great variety of flavor combinations. And if you're like us and come up with two distinctly different flavor profiles, Velvet Sky Bakery made the union of the two flavor combos effortless and fun for our guest to choose and try both types. The owner/designer was very professional and friendly. Most of all, she was patient in helping us design the perfect cake for our wedding...which wasn't easy considering our tastes were so varied. There is a good array of design, flavor and cake choices and this bakery seemed more willing to accommodate our needs more than others.
OUTSTANDING! We were from out of town, so took the advice of our hotel to select the Baker. Our communication was over the phone and via email, however Jordan captured exactly what we wanted in our cake - the design, the colors and the flavors. It was perfect. The hotel organized a cake tasting, which was super fun and the bakery certainly delivered on the product. It was excellent.
We had cupcakes and a cake topper made for our mixtape/book themed wedding and they were delicious! The staff is friendly, excellent, and willing to work with you. They even made a couple vegan apple cupcakes for us. Everyone loved the cupcakes! Thanks for enhancing our special day! We definitely recommend Velvet Sky! We visited their cafe and it's cozy and beautiful. The treats and coffee are really tasty!
From the tasting to the cake cutting, we were more than happy with the fine workmanship of Jordan at Velvet Sky Bakery. After showing her a few photos at the tasting, she sketched up a custom designed cake that was more than we imagined. The tasting allowed us to mix and match different frostings and cakes for each layer! While wedding cakes are often gorgeous, Jordan's cake was gorgeous and delicious. Many of our guests continue to ask us where the cake was from and what the flavors were that they had. Velvet Sky offers a great customer experience and delivers a phenomenal product!
Jordan is an incredible baker and the easiest person to work with. When we went for our tasting, she talked us through different design types and pricing options. Sometimes wedding cake is not that great, let's be honest. But NOT with Velvet Sky. This is wedding cake you want to make sure you get a piece of.
Jordan and the Velvet Sky team were absolutely amazing to work with! Our cake turned out just as we imagined it and the process was effortless.
